  • "Enjoyed a wonderful evening dinner on the deck. Later moved inside for the pleasant live background music too. Hostess and server, Renea, is terrific and was genuinely in tune with everyone’s requests. Kudos to Sam’s artistry in the kitchen. The white bean chicken chili was, by every measure, the best I’ve ever tasted. The pear spice cake dessert was a special favorite as well. I have to believe this can only happen when ownership, management and all team members are equally dedicated to creating such fine experiences for their guests. Thank you!"

  • “This renovated motel is a blast from the past in the best way. Our room was comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bar had delicious food and wonderful cocktails and the staff was awesome!! The location is perfect for day trips to San Antonio, Austin and a number of local options for exploring the outdoor sights."

The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Amaliee was my bartender, she was so knowledgeable about the area, and had great food and drink recommendations off their menu. As a solo female traveler this is exactly what I look for when checking out new places. I will most definitely be back!"
